My children will not have the kind of faith that allows them to be lazy or apathetic while waiting on the Lord. They will use all that has been given to them to do all that they can… then trust God to do the rest. (Prov. 16:9)

Lord, help my children run with exuberance. Give them endurance by stripping off every weight that slows them down. Teach them to keep their eye on Jesus and that they are His joy. Heb 12:1-2
May my children walk in all that You hold for them. May their lives transform to be a place of refuge and protection from a broken world. The world is broken but my children are NOT because they are the redeemed of the Lord… saved by the one and only source of salvation… Jesus Christ!…
My children are only accountable for what You give them. Do not let them become bogged down comparing their lives to others. You have planted very specific purposes in their hearts and given them the resources necessary to accomplish them. Let my children rejoice when others bear fruit and let my children be satisfied with theirs!…
Show my children that in every story of victory there are chapters of defeat. Teach them to estimate difficulty NOT in the light of their own resources but of Yours. Give them a spirit of adventure and confidence so they won’t be hindered by the traps of the enemy. 1 Jn 4:4
Thank you for purchasing my children’s freedom with the life of your own Son. You understand our pain because you have already faced our deepest fear and greatest loss- the loss of a child. Let us run to you for comfort when we feel overburdened by our pain. Col 1:14
You purposely created my children with a need that only You can meet. When they come to depend on other sources to fill that need they are guilty of idolatry. May they recognize what they are doing, stop, and learn to enjoy the fullness of a daily relationship with You. 2Peter 3:9, Isaiah 55:6
