When my children fall into bed after a long productive day I will rejoice rather than pity them for having to work so hard… for the sleep of a laboring man is sweet… and the ability to enjoy the fruit of labor is a gift from God. Ecc 5:12,19

Impress upon my children the urgency and importance of today. Rather than put off their obligations or delay their dreams, they will begin today, and in doing so release Your power over their lives. They will live by faith and not the illusion of their own power. Galatians 6:4

Thank You Father for breaking the hold sin had over my children. May they receive this incredible gift by faith, believing that through Christ, they have the power to resist sin. I am so grateful that You have made a way for us to travel from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God……

Focus my children. Reveal to them the purpose You have placed in their hearts so they don’t waste time and energy chasing someone else’s dream. Pr 4:27

Let my children experience sorrow and deep grief for the wrong things they have done. They will come to You and ask forgiveness, therefore entering Your kingdom by humbling themselves. Evil isn’t present in Your kingdom … may their hearts reside there while still on earth so they may experience Your peace, the peace that…

I trust Christ to save me. Use my life to teach my children that God’s way of making us right with Himself depends on faith, not their own goodness. Let them experience the mighty power that raised Christ from the dead.  Philippians 3:9-10
