As my children walk throughout their day, may the whispers and jeers fade as they are filled with your Sprit. They are Your children; loving, strong, wise and beautiful… do not let the world bring them down and crush them. 1 Jn 3:1
As my children walk throughout their day, may the whispers and jeers fade as they are filled with your Sprit. They are Your children; loving, strong, wise and beautiful… do not let the world bring them down and crush them. 1 Jn 3:1
You promise to make my home joyful and favored if I am just and consistently righteous. Make me grateful for that promise so that I take it. In doing so my children will taste the blessing and someday place their home on the same foundation as mine. Pr 3:33
I pray my children will invite the Word to penetrate them through and through with its full power and authority for the purpose of sanctifying them as they are trying to walk with You while battling peer pressure. Jn 17:15-18, 1 Th 5:23-24
Keep my children from jumping to false conclusions. When they see each other seemingly displeasing You, let them take the time to ask for each other’s explanation. Most likely, all is well, as the Israelites discovered of their brethren in the matter of the Lord’s alter near the Jordan. Jos 22
Thank You Lord for loving my children enough to make them miserable in their rebellion… for allowing darkness to follow rebellion… for sometimes we need darkness before we can see the tiny portal of light leading to freedom. Thank You for satisfying my children’s longings and filling their hungry souls… I respect and appreciate any…
Nothing blocks promise like prayers NOT prayed. In order to receive your blessings my children must humble themselves and ask! Jas 4:2
To live obedient lives… my children are not called to perfection and sinlessness but a lifestyle of confession and repentance when they sin. Rather than living miserably by a set of laws, they must come to see God’s Word as their safe harbor. Obedient lives love and treasure their time reading God’s Word and experiencing…
