Don’t let my children compare themselves to others and conclude that they aren’t worthy because they are missing particular
talents, attributes, or possessions. Show them it is what they already possess that You will use to fulfill Your purpose in their
life. Give them the faith to see that what they are holding onto
is all they need to accomplish great things … then to place it in Your hands and watch as amazing things happen. Exodus 4:2, Hebrews 11:6
Surround my children with people who celebrate and worship You. May they love and be kind to all people, especially those who don’t know You… keep them from adopting the ways of those who do not trust You… so they do not fall victim to the enemy. Jos 23:14
As my children mature, focus their energies on forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. They are citizens of heaven, straining to reach the end of the race and make it back to You. Philippians 3:13, 20
Reveal and develop the unique abilities my children possess so that they may understand their life’s assignment, then give them the gusto to take action! Romans 12:6
Build in my children a faithful heart … for their prayers to be answered my children must ask in faith without any doubting … for if they doubt they ought not to expect to receive anything from You! John 1:6-8
Fix my thoughts on what is true and humble and right. Let me think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. I will worry about nothing and pray about everything. My children will put into practice all they hear from me and see me doing. Philemon 4:8-9
Help my children see that constantly seeking council from friends is a sign they aren’t hearing and understanding Your voice. Gently correct their sins so that their hearts will be pure and they can receive Your words. Mt 5:8
