Give my children resiliency and a sense of humor. They are a love letter from Christ to the world… and a crabby attitude to their lives is like illegible handwriting to Christ’s love letter. 2 Co 3:3

Help my children carry the burden of someone else today, taking time to listen to a hurting friend, show kindness to the lonely, or encourage the downtrodden with their patience. Gal 6:2  

Reveal to my children that letting their minds become seduced from wholehearted, sincere, and pure devotion to Christ is no different from Eve taking that apple. Both hinge on the test of obedience. Surround my children with people who celebrate and worship You. May they love and be kind to all people, especially those who don’t know You … keep them from adopting the ways of those who do not trust You … so they do not fall victim to the enemy. Joshua 23:14

Let my life be a reminder to my children that we must obey the commands of God revealed to us through scripture. Many things are kept secret and for those we aren’t responsible … but where scripture is clear … there are no ‘ifs’ or ‘buts’ nor exceptions. Deuteronomy 29:29
