Keep my children away from complaining and arguing. Help them live clean, innocent lives as children of God in a dark world full of crooked and perverse people. Php 2:14-15
Make my children leaders. Help them understand that the true measure of a leader isn’t getting people to work nor getting them to work hard … it is about getting them to work together. 1Samuel 7:12 Numbers 11:14, Nehemiah 4:6
Your word teaches us that if anyone will not work, neither let them eat. As my children mature, help me identify appropriate ways to hold them accountable for idleness and not taking care of their business! 1Th 3:11-12
May those who care for my children find rest. Your Word teaches us that the natural path away from depression, lack of perspective, and a sense of hopelessness is to rest our bodies, receive the love being poured out to us by friends, and banish the whispers of fear by replacing them with Your voice…
Show my children specific areas of their lives where they are displeasing You. May they repent, receive forgiveness and then work to remove those behaviors from their lives. In doing so, they will be free to live a life that is full of joy, peace, and much love! 2Ti 3:15-17
Don’t let my children compare themselves to others and conclude that they aren’t worthy because they are missing particular talents, attributes, or possessions. Show them it is what they already possess that You will use to fulfill Your purpose in their life. Give them the faith to see that what they are holding onto is…
