Give my children x-ray vision… to be able to spot the goodness in every situation. Just for today, I pray my children make a conscious effort to only see the good in every person and every moment. Give my children a wholesome dread of displeasing You so they will be intrinsically motivated to obey Your commands. Let them experience the light free feeling that flows from doing the ‘right’ thing so that they crave more and truly begin to understand that obedience is not only the root of character but the foundation…

Teach my children the power of Selah (pause and reflect.) Don’t allow them to race through life without capturing the meaning. When they experience those ‘ahhh’ moments, they will pause, give thanks for Your constant companionship in their lives, and then strive to comprehend that You were there all along. Ps 3:1-8

Faith is a force that can change things in my children’s lives. I pray that their dreams and plans are in line with Your will. I pray that my children BELIEVE that what they ask WILL take place … and most of all I pray their faith grows so that You become the most powerful…

My children will be more influenced by the future than the past. What theycommit themselves to will determine who they are today and who they will become. Php 3:13

Give my children a humble spirit that they may come before You and ask You to help their weakness of faith… so that You can begin transforming their heart and teaching them that all things are possible to those that believe.  Mk 9:23-24
