May my children look to God alone for direction and not become dependent on the world to define who they will become.
1Samuel 8:19-20
I pray my children recognize that their resources are all from You. May they seek Your will and then believe You. I’m quite sure You are asking them to do far more than they believe they are capable of achieving… and I am even more certain the resources You have given them are far greater…
Give my children the wisdom of Joseph. To know that God is in control of our lives at all times, even in long times of trouble. May they grow in this time so they will be prepared to accomplish God’s will when the pieces fall into place. And they will! Ge 45:8
Give my children a humble spirit that they may come before You and ask You to help their weakness of faith… so that You can begin transforming their heart and teaching them that all things are possible to those that believe. Mk 9:23-24

My children will merrily traverse the path you have laid before them and never give up, even during trials. You will send wise travel companions to accompany them when needed, equip them with everything they need to persevere, and send encouraging supporters when they must walk alone. They are blessed.
