Oftentimes my children forget that God’s children aren’t just the people that seem nice or other Christians or the people that seem safe … but ALL the precious people God created. Let my children find ways to express Your love to the world around them … for You reside in every person walking the planet…

God gives different missions to different people, and equips each person to accomplish their purpose. Don’t let my children get bogged down with hang ups about other people’s gifts. Please don’t let my children become a victim to the prowling enemy. They will take a firm stand against this roaring lion and remain strong in their faith. I will humble myself under the might power of God and they will follow me. 1Peter 5:6-7

Keep my children from believing the lie that the thing they desire most will bring them the happiness they so desperately crave (be it a relationship, their health, a certain possession, financial security, etc…). Teach my children that true happiness comes when they trust You for what they need, knowing if it’s right You’ll provide…

Speak tenderly to my children after You chastise them so they will be more open to receive Your forgiveness and subsequently obey Your voice. Give me a tender spirit also, so my discipline will be an earthly example of the freedom that follows repentance and results in obedience. Isa 40:1-2

Make Your way level and straight before my children. They are young and need Your guidance. Send me out before them as a mighty worker removing stones and breaking down obstructions with every prayer I utter and every act of obedience and service to You. Psalms 5:7-8
