Give my children x-ray vision… to be able to spot the goodness in every situation. Just for today, I pray my children make a conscious effort to only see the good in every person and every moment. God gives different missions to different people, and equips each person to accomplish their purpose. Don’t let my children get bogged down with hang ups about other people’s gifts. Teach my children the power of Selah (pause and reflect.) Don’t allow them to race through life without capturing the meaning. When they experience those ‘ah ha’ moments, they will pause, give thanks for Your constant companionship in their lives, and then strive to comprehend that You were there all along. Ps 3:1-8
Let the way my children love, honor and please You Lord so they will continually do good, kind things for others. All the while, they will learn to know You better and better. Col 1:10
May Your word become a guide for my children so that when they read ‘let every man be quick to hear, ready to listen, slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry’ they take it to heart and implement Your wisdom! James 1:19
Teach my children not to condemn other Christians. Help them understand that we are each accountable to God. Let their minds be free of this clutter so they may focus on serving You. Romans 14:10
