I pray that at some point in this day I will have the opportunity to teach my children that good and evil are both present in each of our hearts… and that whichever we choose to feed is the one we will become.

I pray that at some point in this day I will have the opportunity to teach my children that good and evil are both present in each of our hearts… and that whichever we choose to feed is the one we will become.

I pray my children don’t become lifelong whiners… and I pray even harder that I don’t get sucked in by those who do! Give my children warrior spirits so they don’t freak out when they encounter trials (at least not for long!) Let me teach them (by example) to rise in the midst of adversity…
Reveal and develop the unique abilities my children possess so that they may understand their life’s assignment, then give them the gusto to take action! Romans 12:6
May those who care for my children find rest. Your Word teaches us that the natural path away from depression, lack of perspective, and a sense of hopelessness is to rest our bodies, receive the love being poured out to us by friends, and banish the whispers of fear by replacing them with Your voice…
When my children experience the majesty and beauty of the natural world, may they remember Christ and know that He is the restorer of their souls … that He is altogether lovely … and their friend! Song of Songs 5:16
Help my children understand that the turmoil in their lives is not your will for them. Show them that strife is the work of Satan. You made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. You were pleased to live in Christ. Let them be, too! Col…

You have planted very specific purposes in their hearts and given them the resources necessary to accomplish them. Let my children rejoice when others bear fruit and let my children be satisfied with theirs!…
