May my children STOP trying to humanize God. Yes, He loves those we perceive as bad… as much as those we perceive as good. We tend to love people based on their actions… God loves them based on who He is!

May my children STOP trying to humanize God. Yes, He loves those we perceive as bad… as much as those we perceive as good. We tend to love people based on their actions… God loves them based on who He is!

Send a mentor into each of my children’s lives, someone who will learn their strengths and encourage them to grow in the direction of Your Son! Thank you for letting me shepherd my flock… and thank you for sending help! Php 3:17
I pray my children will invite the Word to penetrate them through and through with its full power and authority for the purpose of sanctifying them as they are trying to walk with You while battling peer pressure. John 17:15-18, 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
You promise to make my home joyful and favored if I am just and consistently righteous. Make me grateful for that promise so that I take it. In doing so my children will taste the blessing and someday place their home on the same foundation as mine. Pr 3:33
When my children experience the majesty and beauty of the natural world, may they remember Christ and know that He is the restorer of their souls… that He is altogether lovely… and their friend! SS 5:16
To live obedient lives… my children are not called to perfection and sinlessness but a lifestyle of confession and repentance when they sin. Rather than living miserably by a set of laws, they must come to see God’s Word as their safe harbor. Obedient lives love and treasure their time reading God’s Word and experiencing…
Thank You Lord for loving my children enough to make them miserable in their rebellion… for allowing darkness to follow rebellion… for sometimes we need darkness before we can see the tiny portal of light leading to freedom. Thank You for satisfying my children’s longings and filling their hungry souls… I respect and appreciate any…
