When Jesus died he did not leave my children an inheritance of junk, he left them His most prized possession… His peace. I pray my children learn the combination to the safe (submission to the Holy Spirit) and choose to withdraw peace from their ‘trust account’ daily. I say choose because it is up to them… I pray their vision increases through faith so they may ‘see’ and embrace all that Christ has accomplished and bequeathed to them!

May my children hear the whisper moving them to serve others. Their physical eyes hinder their God given sight… let them see past the physical imperfections of others and see what God sees! 1Jn 2:20, Jn 16:14
Give my children the wisdom of Joseph to know that God is in control of our lives at all times, even in long times of trouble. May they grow in this time so they will be prepared to accomplish God’s will when the pieces fall into place. And they will! Genesis 45:8
Help my children carry the burden of someone else today, taking time to listen to a hurting friend, showing kindness to the lonely, or encouraging the downtrodden with their patience. Gal 6:2
Don’t let my children close their eyes to Your goodness because of any hurt they are nursing. Help them hold on to what is good and keep them away from every kind of evil. 1Th 5:16-22
You promise to make my home joyful and favored if I am just and consistently righteous. Make me grateful for that promise so that I take it. In doing so my children will taste the blessing and someday place their home on the same foundation as mine. Pr 3:33
I pray my children will invite the Word to penetrate them through and through with its full power and authority for the purpose of sanctifying them as they are trying to walk with You while battling peer pressure. John 17:15-18, 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
