Do not let my children value what is worthy by the measure of this world. They will not fear displeasing their peers and being left out of certain circles, rather, they will develop a wholesome dread of displeasing You. Isaiah 8:12-13
Blaze Your promises on my children’s hearts. As they see Your promises come to fruition their trust in You will become unshakable. May I stand on Your promises as I face today’s struggles and may I display the fruits of Your Spirit; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Give my children the drive to know You intimately, then help them understand it won’t happen overnight. Let my children witness me taking the time and effort to become deeply acquainted with You so that they will have the faith to pursue a relationship with You that is so close that you will walk together…
Let me know my children’s weakness, but show them their strengths; feel their fears but fortify their faith; see their anxieties but free their spirit; recognize their disabilities but emphasize their possibilities. Pr 27:17 & William Alan Ward
When my children find themselves condemning others, let that be a clue that they are not receiving forgiveness for their own sin. Guilt and condemnation tell my children that their sins are too big for God’s forgiveness. Help them adopt a humble attitude and forgive themselves the way God has. Isa 43:25 I confess that…
Whenever my children pray, they must forgive anything they have against anyone so that their Father in heaven will also forgive them! If they do not, neither will their Father in heaven forgive them! Mk 11:25-26
