May the Lord make my children increase, excel, and overflow in love for one another and for all people … just as I do for them! 1Thessalonians 2:14

The next time my children are offered an invitation to a pity party, their own or to that of a friend, I pray they turn it down. Let them become so filled with gratitude for all the good in their lives and may their eyesight become so sharp that they are able to point out…

You planted my children in the garden of their lives. Show them their role in tending that garden … that everything they need is there, but they must work it and take care of it to produce fruit. You give my children all the resources, but they must do their part! Genesis 2:8, 2:15

Do not allow my children to self destruct. Show them that the laws of nature apply to them, that their bodies are not invincible, that only their spirits abiding in You can withstand the pressures and focus of the natural world. They will not tempt You by risky behavior that will destroy their physical and…

I pray that at some point in this day I will have the opportunity to teach my children that good and evil are both present in each of our hearts… and that whichever we choose to feed is the one we will become. Ro 12:21

Make my house strong so the enemy can’t use us to hurt each other. As I parent Your remarkable children … I will keep them from hunger, anger, loneliness, and exhaustion … that is when they become vulnerable and make bad decisions.
