I pray my children NEVER ignore the poor … for he who shuts his ear to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be answered.
Proverbs 21:13
I pray my children NEVER ignore the poor … for he who shuts his ear to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be answered.
Proverbs 21:13
When my children fall into bed after a long productive day I will rejoice rather than pity them for having to work so hard… for the sleep of a laboring man is sweet… and the ability to enjoy the fruit of labor is a gift from God. Ecc 5:12,19
May my children live this day and every day with the knowledge that this could be our last day. May they turn to You in urgency about all matters and not weigh themselves down with their worldly worries and cares pertaining to the business of this life. Luke 21:34
Give my children a revelation of communion. Jesus is the Bread of Life and I pray my children will KNOW this so they will never be hungry or thirsty and will continually be filled with Him so they lack nothing. Jn 6:35
Fill my children with joy. Teach them to know that true joy comes from thankfulness and displaying gratitude through their actions. Thank You for rescuing them from the kingdom of darkness and placing them in the Kingdom of Your Son! Col 1:11-13
Dear Lord, I know that you have the power to do anything I ask … and when I don’t please let me acknowledge my lack of faith so You can give me that, too! Today, my children will speak promise and success over their situation (and they always have SOME situation!) They will not rehearse…
Teach my children the power of Selah (pause and reflect.) Don’t allow them to race through life without capturing the meaning. When they experience those ‘ahhh’ moments, they will pause, give thanks for Your constant companionship in their lives, and then strive to comprehend that You were there all along. Ps 3:1-8
