Our world offers powerful substitutes for needs that only God can meet. Show my children that it is their union with Christ that makes them complete. He is the only answer. Col 2:8-10

Lord, help my children run with exuberance. Give them endurance by stripping off every weight that slows them down. Teach them to keep their eyes on Jesus and know that they are His joy. Hebrews 12:1-2

I trust Christ to save me. Use my life to teach my children that God’s way of making us right with Himself depends on faith, not their own goodness. Let them experience the mighty power that raised Christ from the dead.  Philippians 3:9-10 

Work in my children; give them the desire to obey You and the power to do what pleases You. Php 2:13

May Your Word become a guide for my children so that when they read ‘let every man be quick to hear, ready to listen, slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry’ they take it to heart and implement Your wisdom! Jas 1:19

My children will live in truth and love so they may have the grace, mercy, and peace that comes from You and from Your son Jesus Christ. Truth is internal and may be accomplished in quiet meditation but love requires us to reach beyond ourselves. We have been commanded to love one another from the…
