Sometimes when my children are experiencing a season of loss … they forget the good stuff. Their own loss hardens them to the plight of others as well as their own blessings. Their happiness will never come from getting what they want, but only through gratitude for what they already have. Please remind them today…

I pray my children know You through Jesus … for He is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to You but through Jesus! May they humble themselves and finally accept that they can NOT earn Your love, forgiveness, devotion, or salvation! John 14:6

God gives different missions to different people, and equips each person to accomplish their purpose. Don’t let my children get bogged down with hang ups about other people’s gifts. Help them see that it is not only a waste of time, but questions Your authority and capability. I pray my children do what they were…

May my children recognize who they are… clay in the Potter’s hand. The pressure, spinning and heat may at times feel ‘too much’ for them as their lives are shaped and formed into vessels God can use to bless… as well as bless others. Isa 64:8

Don’t let my children wait for the perfect conditions to occur before they take steps to reach the visions you have placed in them. May the power of Your Word through their faith in Jesus Christ propel them to take action to begin each new journey …and most importantly, when they are experiencing storms ……
