May my children remain practical and stand firm against the enemy using the tools they have worked with all of their lives. As my children mature, I pray they begin to rejoice when they see people acting differently from ‘the world’… following the Lord in obedience instead! When my children truly begin to serve You… their definition of ‘cool’ will completely change from those imitating Hollywood… to those imitating Christ! 1 Co 13:6

My children will merrily traverse the path you have laid before them and never give up, even during trials. You will send wise travel companions to accompany them when needed, equip them with everything they need to persevere, and send encouraging supporters when they must walk alone. They are blessed. Give my children the heart to protect Your creation. They have dominion over the works of Your hands and all things have been put under their feet. Make them aware of how precious and important they are in this world. Psalms 8:6

When my children throw a pity-party for themselves, help them stop! Open their eyes to the immediate needs of others around them and let them find ways to help, prayers to pray and, above all … offer unconditional love. Psalms 25:16

Give my children the wisdom necessary to understand the magnitude of Christ’s sacrifice. You teach us that sin has earthly consequences and You also teach us how to avoid the eternal consequences of our sin.
