I pray my children seek You for a vision for their future… so that I can become their biggest cheerleader. My spirit agrees with theirs when they are walking in Your will so that I get to support rather than correct! They will not allow facts or naysayers to interfere with their God given visions and they may look to me for a reassuring word or smile in the face of big odds… because I know you are bigger! We are created to believe the best in every person. My children do but they forget the most important part… ALL the time! Especially when someone is annoying them, may my children STOP and focus on the positive attributes… I am not that bad!!! 1 Cor 13:7
Do not allow sin to control the way my children live. Teach them that living without restraint is like removing brakes from a car, while the ride will be exciting, it will end in disaster. Help them see that whatever they choose to obey will become their master, and then give themselves completely to You!…
Give my children a pure heart. Place in them a desire to study Your word and identify all sin lurking in the corners if their life. Let them receive Your cleansing so their hearts will be free to obey You. Mt 5:8, Heb. 12:1, Jn 15:3, Ps 50:10
Give my children the drive to know You intimately, then help them understand it won’t happen overnight. Let my children witness me taking the time and effort to become deeply acquainted with You so that they will have the faith to pursue a relationship with You that is so close that you will walk together…
May Your Word become a guide for my children so that when they read ‘let every man be quick to hear, ready to listen, slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry’ thar they take it to heart and implement Your wisdom! Jas 1:19
You are able to make every favor and earthly blessing come to my children in abundance so that they will always be self sufficient … possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. 2 Corinthians 9:8
