My children will not receive the fruit of Your promise if they ask with wrong motives. I wouldn’t give a beggar provisions to buy beer and neither will God bless my children if they are solely motivated by their own selfish pleasures. Jas 4:3

Let the spirit of Christ grow strong in my children, for that is the assurance that they will share in His glory. May Christ’s mighty power mature in them so they can share His glory with others. Col 1:27

Do not let my children value what is worthy by the measure of this world. They will not fear displeasing their peers and being left out of certain circles, rather, they will develop a wholesome dread of displeasing You. Is 8:12-13

God gives different missions to different people, and equips each person to accomplish their purpose. Don’t let my children get bogged down with hang ups about other people’s gifts. Help them see that it is not only a waste of time, but questions Your authority and capability. I pray my children do what they were made…

My children have a keen awareness that though the mountains be shaken and the hills removed, God’s unfailing love for them will not be shaken nor His covenant of peace be removed. May they rest in the fact that the Lord has compassion on them. I sure do! Isaiah 54:10

Do not allow my children to self destruct. Show them that the laws of nature apply to them, that their bodies are not invincible, that only their spirits abiding in You can withstand the pressures and focus of the natural world.
