As my children walk in Your will and obey Your commands, pour out Your spirit upon them and make Your words known to them. Thank You for such a life giving promise. Pr 1:23

Do not let my children develop an attitude of superiority. You created them to carry the burdens of others… and their load will require assistance, too. Let them receive the understanding and concept of teamwork and allow themselves to need help. The people You then place alongside them will take their breath away! 1Ki 10:20

My children will not have the kind of faith that allows them to be lazy or apathetic while waiting on the Lord. They will use all that has been given to them to do all that they can… then trust God to do the rest. Prov. 16:9

I pray my children put all anxiety to rest and learn to pray with grateful hearts making their requests known to You … for You promise Your peace in the hearts and minds of those who begin to trust and rely on Christ Jesus! Philippians 4:6-7

Give my children the drive to know You intimately, then help them understand it won’t happen overnight. Let my childrenwitness me taking the time and effort to become deeply acquainted with You so that they will have the faith to pursue a relationship with You that is so close that you will walk together whatever…

Speak tenderly to my children after You chastise them so they will be more open to receive Your forgiveness and subsequently obey Your voice. Give me a tender spirit also, so my discipline will be an earthly example of the freedom that follows repentance and results in obedience. Isa 40:1-2
