My children will smile today when they think of You. They will spontaneously do something nice for someone else as they are reminded of how much You have already done for them. Jn 4:23

Speak tenderly to my children after You chastise them so they will be more open to receive Your forgiveness and subsequently obey Your voice. Give me a tender spirit also, so my discipline will be an earthly example of the freedom that follows repentance and results in obedience.  Isa 40:1-2

My children can’t prosper if they are hanging around fools. Help them discern and choose wholesome minded companions. Being filled with pride comes naturally. Give my children more heroes like David Robinson who gives all glory to You! It is only when my children finally admit their victories are simply reflections of Your glory that they are supplied with the supernatural strength of a humble spirit. Humility is not a sign of weakness…

My children will not become dependent on earthly vices. They will see me live by every word and expression of God and know You are the path to a satisfactory life… not donuts or Red Bull.  Lk 4:4
