When my children are knowingly or unknowingly walking in sin, cause their hearts to soften. May they hear and heed Your messengers rather than mock Your rebukes. Thank you for giving me Your peace. If I become wrought up or anxious about anything today, remind me that I am wasting treasure. Show me that it is as silly as swimming in a crystal clean river and complaining of thirst. Help me teach this to my children. Jn 14:7

May my children feel secure enough to approach You honestly with the secret struggles of their mind … for You promise to keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trusts in You! Isaiah 26:3

My children already possess everything they need to accomplish what they were sent to do. I pray they open their eyes and their hearts to the will of God and learn their mission … for they are  equipped with the perfect tools to arrive at their destination … not anyone else’s.  1 Peter 1:3-4

Build strong character in my children by teaching them the importance of self discipline. Their greatest victories will be their internal ones. They will set their standards high by following the example of the spiritual strength and character needed to accomplish great things for You. Pr 16:32, Mt 16:24  

Show my children the importance of accepting other Christians, even when they don’t agree with them. Help them see that each person is responsible to the Lord and by His power He will help them do as they should. For You, God, have accepted them! Ro 14:1,4
