Teach my children not to waste their time and energy on things that cannot be changed. Help them to look forward and press on. Remind them that You have plans for them and they are good. In the midst of my children’s pain, let them find someone who is hurting and offer them help and hope. In doing so they will please God and possibly save a life! Lk 23:39-43, Ac 7:59-60
Let my children be fire lighters, inspiring those around them to dream big. Reveal to them those phrases they use that tear others down so that they will become effective in lighting the fire of passion throughout their lifetime… let it start today. (Jer 20:9)
May my children recognize who they are… clay in the Potter’s hand. The pressure, spinning and heat may at times feel ‘too much’ for them as their lives are shaped and formed into vessels God can use to bless… as well as bless others. Isa 64:8
