Fill my children with joy by revealing their shortcomings. Do not let them erect defenses against their own inadequacies and try to hide their faults from themselves and others. Let them embrace justified criticism for what it is … encouragement toward spiritual growth. Proverbs 15:5

My children will be the salt of this earth, daily preserving the attribute of Christ within them so they may bring forth Your love to a hurting world. Lev 2:13, Mk 9:50

Give my children a new heart and put a new spirit into them. May their hearts be soft and able to feel the exquisite pain of the piercing of Your arrows … so that their hearts are no longer hardened against the piercing of Your word and the teachings of our Master. Ezekiel 36:26

Help my children understand that they will need people to help fulfill Your purpose for their life and get them where they need to go next. Let them see me humble myself to others as well as honor those God has placed I my life. Romans 16:3
