Sin is to my children’s lives as weeds are to the garden. They are going to pop up but we must diligently be on the watch and eradicate them from our lives before they take over. If not, my children’s lives will not produce the fruit God intended where he planted their seeds. Ro 6:12

Reveal to my children their areas of weakness and help them avoid situations that tempt them to disobey you. Help them grow and mature but make them aware of danger zones so they don’t put themselves in harm’s way. They will run from temptations today! 2Ti 2:22

Help my children carry the burden of someone else today, taking time to listen to a hurting friend, showing kindness to the lonely, or encouraging the downtrodden with their patience. Gal 6:2

Reveal Your magnificence to my children… use the mountains, the testing of someone like Nick Vujicic (worth googling), or the wonder of the tiny snowflake… just help my children view themselves in relation to You so they may remain humble… for only the humble will be lifted up and their lives made significant! Let no one deceive my children with persuasive arguments. Give them complete understanding that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ. Knit my children together with strong ties to other believers so they will always abide in You. Col 2:2-4

Give my children resiliency and a sense of humor. They are a love letter from Christ to the world… and a crabby attitude to their lives is like illegible handwriting to Christ’s love letter. 2 Co 3:3
