Teach my children not to waste their time and energy on things that cannot be changed. Help them to look forward and press on. Remind them that You have plans for them and they are good. They will give their attention to the important assignment they have every morning, the choice of their attitude. The best is yet to come.

My children have a hope and a future. Help them to focus on that, not the past. Use their pain to show them how to help bring healing to others… that it is the broken who become masters at mending. Isa 43:18-19
You are able to make every favor and earthly blessing come to my children in abundance so that they will always be self sufficient… possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. 2 Co 9:8

Give my children a sense of humor and resiliency. They are a love letter from Christ to the world… and a crabby attitude to their lives is like illegible handwriting to Christ’s love letter. 2Co 3:3
