Keep my children from believing the lie that the thing they desire most will bring them the happiness they so desperately crave (be it a relationship, their health, a certain possession, financial security, etc…). Teach my children that true happiness comes when they trust You for what they need, knowing if it’s right You’ll provide…

My children will not be hindered by their past mistakes. When thoughts of hurt and betrayal enter their minds today, remind my children that You gave Your Son for their forgiveness… so they appreciate Your ultimate act of sacrifice  and live a free, peaceful, and joy filled life. Once their mind is no longer cluttered…

Thank You for making my children free to run, free to dance, free to live for You! May they embrace this amazing gift and make the most of this day… it’s not over yet… the best is yet to come! Jn 8:36

Let my children organize their time and follow through with their plans. In doing so, they won’t be consumed by the busyness of life and the frantic “catch-up” which steals their peace. Help my children see the truth, that under God’s protection and Christ’s blood, they do not have to live under guilt or condemnation. In fact, if they do, they are essentially calling God a liar… for all the sin’s they will commit while on earth have already been forgiven… from the womb to the tomb!…

Teach my children to be content regardless of circumstances. Once they finally learn to depend on You to fill their needs they will be free. Free from the bad moods of others, the ugly words of others, the gloom others bring into their day … my children were created with a need only You can…
