Sometimes when my children are experiencing a season of loss … they forget the good stuff. Their own loss hardens them to the plight of others as well as their own blessings. As my children mature, give them the right amount of Your wisdom at just the right time. May they steadily grow in Your Word so they don’t become overwhelmed and stumble. Your promises are great… but we must each learn the doors we must walk through in order to receive them. Psalm 112:1

May my children recognize who they are… clay in the Potter’s hand. The pressure, spinning and heat may at times feel ‘too much’ for them as their lives are shaped and formed into vessels God can use to bless… as well as bless others. Isa 64:8

Let no one deceive my children with persuasive arguments. Give them complete understanding that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ. Knit my children together with strong ties to other believers so they will always abide in You. Colossians 2:2-4

You know what You are doing. You have it all planned out. Plans to take care of my children, not abandon them. Plans to give them the future they hope for. When they call on You, when they come and pray to You, You will listen. When they come looking for You, You’ll find them….
