My children will make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive the person that offends them. They will be bound together by love and let the peace that comes from Christ rule their hearts.
Colossians 3:13-15
My children will make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive the person that offends them. They will be bound together by love and let the peace that comes from Christ rule their hearts.
Colossians 3:13-15
Don’t let anyone lead my children astray with empty philosophy and high sounding nonsense that comes from human thinking and from the evil powers of this world … and not from Christ. Colossians 2:8
When my children complain they become confused when it backfires! May they learn to simply ask for what they need or want from me instead of assuming, demanding, or complaining! Php 2:14
As my children mature, I pray they begin to rejoice when they see people acting differently from ‘the world’… following the Lord in obedience instead! When my children truly begin to serve You… their definition of ‘cool’ will completely change from those imitating Hollywood… to those imitating Christ! 1 Co 13:6
Don’t let my children close their eyes to Your goodness because of any hurt they are nursing. Help them hold on to what is good and keep them away from every kind of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-22
Impress upon my children the urgency and importance of today. Rather than put off their obligations or delay their dreams, they will begin today, and in doing so release Your power over their lives. They will live by faith and not the illusion of their own power. Gal 6:4
Today, each of my children will encounter at least one person who is hurting … whether they recognize the pain or not. May my children be the encouragers of this world bringing hope and joy to everyone they meet. When my children are hurting, I pray they realize You haven’t turned your back on them…
