May my children reach deep and put on strong and courageous behaviors and move forward doing what you have called them to do. As they remember that You are with them, my children will fear not nor be dismayed. You promise not to fail o forsake them as they complete the work You have set before them. My children must first WALK OUT of the wilderness before God can deliver them to their Promised Land of blessing. May my children begin to speak God’s Word over their life rather than speak defeat… and choose to walk away from choices that bring them harm. Eph 4:29, Isa 65:16
May my children STOP trying to humanize God. Yes, He loves those we perceive as bad… as much as those we perceive as good. We tend to love people based on their actions… God loves them based on who He is! Ps 107:15-20
You promise to make my home joyful and favored if I am just and consistently righteous. Make me grateful for that promise so that I take it. In doing so my children will taste the blessing and someday place their home on the same foundation as mine. Pr 3:33
Let my life be a reminder to my children that we must obey the commands of God revealed to us through scripture. Many things are kept secret and for those we aren’t responsible… but where scripture is clear… there are no ‘ifs’ or ‘buts’ nor exception. Dt 29:29
You purposely created my children with a need that only You can meet. When they come to depend on other sources to fill that need they are guilty of idolatry. May they recognize what they are doing, stop, and learn to enjoy the fullness of a daily relationship with You. 2Pe 3:9, Isa 55:6
Don’t let my children be deceived, they are NOT alone in finding it difficult to trust an invisible God… but they must understand that the level of trust they have for You is monumental in their life as a believer… for my children’s level of earthly blessing is directly tied to that level of trust! Jer. 17:7, John 20;25
