Lord, let me hear the sweet comfort of Your voice. Those moments when my mind becomes sharp, clear, focused and completely consumed by my connection to You. Please make Your presence know to my children so they may know and experience You joy. Don’t let them depend on our world for happiness for if they do their only joy will come from reaction to circumstances… but You can plaster a smile on their faces that will puzzle even the deepest cynic and…

Reveal to my children their unique gifts. Give them the wisdom and courage to manage them well so that Your generosity can flow through them. 1Pt 4:10

Show my children specific areas of their lives where they are displeasing You. May they repent, receive forgiveness and then work to remove those behaviors from their lives. In doing so, they will be free to live a life that is full of joy, peace, and much love! 2Ti 3:15-17

Let the way my children live honor and please You Lord so they will continually do good, kind things for others. All the while, they will learn to know You better and better. Colossians 1:10

I pray that at some point in this day I will have the opportunity to teach my children that good and evil are both present in each of our hearts… and that whichever we choose to feed is the one we will become. Ro 12:21
