When my children fall into bed after a long productive day I will rejoice rather than pity them for having to work so hard… for the sleep of a laboring man is sweet… and the ability to enjoy the fruit of labor is a gift from God. Ecc 5:12,19
My children must first WALK OUT of the wilderness before God can deliver them to their Promised Land of blessing. May my children begin to speak God’s Word over their life rather than speak defeat… and choose to walk away from choices that bring them harm. Eph 4:29, Isa 65:16
Build in my children a faithful heart… for their prayers to be answered my children must ask in faith without any doubting… for if they doubt they ought not to expect to receive anything from You! Jn 1:6-8
I pray my children stand firm and NEVER give in to a coldness of heart. May they never allow the enemy to talk them into protecting themselves relationally by shutting their hearts up in a steel box. Mt 24:12
You promise to make my home joyful and favored if I am just and consistently righteous. Make me grateful for that promise so that I take it. In doing so my children will taste the blessing and someday place their home on the same foundation as mine. Pr 3:33
Stop my children from praying for show! Don’t let them become like the hypocrites who love to stand and pray in the churches and street corners so they can be seen by men… for it they do their reward will come from men and not from You. Mt 6:5
Praying repetitive empty words blocks my children’s prayers from reaching You. May they talk to You from their hearts! Mt 6:7-8
Nothing blocks promise like prayers NOT prayed. In order to receive Your blessings my children must humble themselves and ask! Jas 4:2
Today, each of my children will encounter at least one person that is hurting… whether they recognize the pain or not. May my children be the encouragers of this world bringing hope and joy to everyone they meet. When my children are hurting, I pray they realize You haven’t turned your back on them… for…
