May Your word become a guide for my children so that when they read ‘let every man be quick to hear, ready to listen, slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry’ they take it to heart and implement Your wisdom! James 1:19
Somehow show my children (in a way that makes sense to them) that their job as Your child is to trust You… to be happy today even if they are in pain… For You have deprived it of power to harm them and have conquered it for them! John 16:33
May my children STOP trying to humanize God. Yes, He loves those we perceive as bad… as much as those we perceive as good. We tend to love people based on their actions… God loves them based on who He is! Psalm 107:15-20
May my children feel secure enough to approach You honestly with the secret struggles of their mind… for You promise to keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trusts in You ! Isa 26:3
Thank You Lord for loving my children enough to make them miserable in their rebellion… for allowing darkness to follow rebellion… for sometimes we need darkness before we can see the tiny portal of light leading to freedom. Thank You for satisfying my children’s longings and filling their hungry souls… I respect and appreciate any…
As my children mature, I pray they begin to rejoice when they see people acting differently from ‘the world’… following the Lord in obedience instead! When my children truly begin to serve You… their definition of ‘cool’ will completely change from those imitating Hollywood… to those imitating Christ! J 1 Cor 13:6

I pray my children will invite the Word to penetrate them through and through with its full power and authority for the purpose of sanctifying them as they are trying to walk with you while battling peer pressure. Jn 17:15-18, 1Th 5:23-24
To live obedient lives… my children are not called to perfection and sinlessness but a lifestyle of confession and repentance when they sin. Rather than living miserably by a set of laws, they must come to see God’s Word as their safe harbor. Obedient lives love and treasure their time reading God’s Word and experiencing…
