Endurance simply means outlasting the problem. Help my children endure the hardship they are facing today. Place warriors alongside them that don’t quit so my children will know the hope and joy endurance brings. (Heb. 10:36)

As my children mature, give them the right amount of Your wisdom at just the right time. May they steadily grow in Your Word so they don’t become overwhelmed and stumble. Your promises are great … but we must each learn the doors we must walk through in order to receive them. Psalms 112:1
Fill my children with joy by revealing their shortcomings. Do not let them erect defenses against their own inadequacies and try to hide their faults from themselves and others. Let them embrace justified criticism for what it is… encouragement towards spiritual growth. Pr 15:5
Help my children see that constantly seeking council from friends is a sign they aren’t hearing and understanding Your voice. Gently correct their sins so that their hearts will be pure and they can receive Your words. Matthew 5:8
The seeds have been planted! My children have talents they haven’t discovered and dreams that haven’t been filled. Give them the faith and patience to know they are evolving… to keep them humble in seasons of great harvest… and strong in times of lack. Ge 2:8
Secure my children’s values so they stand firm when tempted. May they know who they are. Then release them from the urge to compare themselves to others, especially those that are not pleasing You. Give them the grace to free others from conforming to their standards and the security to believe that judgment is Your…
I pray my children don’t become lifelong whiners… and I pray even harder that I don’t get sucked in by those who do! Give my children warrior spirits so they don’t freak out when they encounter trials (at least not for long!) Let me teach them (by example) to rise in the midst of adversity…
