May my children choose to love You. Talk is cheap… their actions prove to You who they serve! You have given each of them the gift of Your voice, the constant presence of Knowledge available to them. I pray with all my heart they learn to LISTEN to You (that still, small voice in their minds!) I pray Your presence outgrows the overpowering ‘promptings’ of the enemy that come in the form of peer pressure, media, celebrity, and physical desire to make my children believe satisfying the craving’s of their flesh in ways that dishonor God is perfectly acceptable because “everyone is doing it… their parents don’t care!” Romans 8:29-30.
Let the spirit of Christ grow strong in my children, for that is the assurance that they will share in his glory. May Christ’s mighty power mature in them so they can share His glory with others. Col 1:27
May my children submit to Christ, stop fretting about their hurts and challenges and give them to You!!! May they spend time everyday thanking You and seeking You … so that they experience peace like a mighty river rolling through their obedient lives! Isaiah 48:18
We offer You our hearts, dedicated and fully immersed in a lifestyle of continual worship. Let my children release their gifts, talents, and abilities to You so they may hear what kind of sacrifice You want from them. With a pure heart they will serve You first so the purpose of their lives will be…
Teach my children to feel good, invincible, happy, and free. Show them that the short lived relief from pain that comes from sin will NEVER compare to the eternal power of the Holy Spirit available to them every second of every day. Reveal to me the areas of my life that I have become dependent…
Show my children the importance of accepting other Christians, even when they don’t agree with them. Help them see that each person is responsible to the Lord and by His power He will help them do as they should. For You, God, have accepted them! Romans 14:1,4
When my children choose to live by Your Spirit, give them a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time so they don’t get discouraged and give up. Show them opportunities to do good so they may please You. Gal 6:8-10
