My children will not receive the fruit of Your promise if they ask with wrong motives. I wouldn’t give a beggar provisions to buy beer and neither will God bless my children if they are solely motivated by their own selfish pleasures. Jas 4:3

Teach my children to put all anxiety to rest and learn to pray the life changing power available to those who live a life pleasing to you … may the resurrected power of Christ dwell in my children so they may become a mighty force for Your kingdom leading Your sheep back home! James 5:16-20

Make my children’s roots grow down into Christ and draw up nourishment from Him, so they will grow in faith, strong and vigorous in the truth. Let their lives overflow with thanksgiving for all You have done! Colossians 2:7

Don’t let my children compare themselves to others and conclude that they aren’t worthy because they are missing particular talents, attributes, or possessions. Join my children to Christ’s body by His strong sinews so they are nourished and strengthened by You. Show them that the only way to receive Your strength and blessing on earth is to bind their lives to Jesus Christ. Show them that sin weakens the connection and saps their strength. Colossians 2:19

I pray my children seek You for a vision for their future… so that I can become their biggest cheerleader. My spirit agrees with theirs when they are walking in Your will so that I get to support rather than correct! They will not allow facts or naysayers to interfere with their God given visions…
