God gives different missions to different people and equips each person to accomplish their purpose. Don’t let my children get bogged down with hang ups about other people’s gifts. Don’t let my children close their eyes to Your goodness because of any hurt they are nursing. Help them hold on to what is good and keep them away from every kind of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-22

Impress upon my children the urgency and importance of today. Rather than put off their obligations or delay their dreams, they will begin today, and in doing so release Your power over their lives. They will live by faith and not the illusion of their own power. Gal 6:4

Of course my children will sin, that is not the point. May they freely admit their sin so they will be forgiven and continuously cleansed from all unrighteousness. 1Jn 1:9  

May my children remain practical and stand firm against the enemy using the tools they have worked with all of their lives. Just as You prepared David to battle Goliath with a slingshot and a stone, thank You for preparing my children to face their giants according to their experiences and skill set. Samuel 17:39 

Teach my children the power of Selah (pause and reflect.) Don’t allow them to race through life without capturing the meaning. When they experience those ‘ah ha’ moments, they will pause, give thanks for Your constant companionship in their lives, and then strive to comprehend that You were there all along. Ps 3:1-8
