I want to be a good example for my children. Help me understand that true joy and peace are directly tied to my faith. If I want more joy, or more peace… I must simply ask You for more faith. Just as eating pie brings a smile to my face, asking for more faith brings…
Take my children’s hand so they will feel the warmth of Yours. They will not seek pleasure from worldly desires that lead to destruction but rather seek experiences that draw them closer to You. They will give and receive only love. Deuteronomy 31:8
Work in my children; give them the desire to obey You and the power to do what pleases You. Php 2:13
Your word teaches us that if anyone will not work, neither let them eat. As my children mature, help me identify appropriate ways to hold them accountable for idleness and not taking care of their business! 1Th 3:11-12
Show my children that they are Your masterpiece… that You created them anew in Christ Jesus so that they can do the good things You planned for them long ago. Eph 2:10 I confess justice and consistent righteousness. I possess a joyful home favored with blessings. Pr 3:32
God, please give my children complete understanding of what You want them to do in their lives, and I ask You to make them wise with spiritual wisdom. Col 1:9
