Fill my children with joy by revealing their shortcomings. Do not let them erect defenses against their own inadequacies and try to hide their faults from themselves and others. Let them embrace justified criticism for what it is… encouragement towards spiritual growth. Pr 15:5  

When someone exits my children’s life… that doesn’t mean they are being abandoned… it just means… that part of their story is over. May they continue to embrace those that cross their paths then joyfully send them off at parting time. Ruth 1:14-16, 2Sa 12:20

Dear Lord, in the face of my children’s most grievous trouble, remind them to bend down and pray, that nothing is too hard for You. Your word tells my children that You will bend down and listen to them … but first they must submit to Your authority and have faith that You do indeed…

Don’t let my children wait for the perfect conditions to occur before they take steps to reach the visions you have placed in them. Make my children confident and courageous. Take their hand and lead them to start something today that they have been putting off rather than waiting for perfect conditions to begin. Take my hand, too! Ecc 11:4; Dt 1:29-30  

I pray my children yearn for Your presence, for when they do… it is a clear picture of a satisfied life. Just as those who drink water crave water to satisfy their thirst… those who experience the presence of God crave Him to satisfy their souls. Isa 55:1-2
