Keep my children close; don’t let them drift away from the assurance they received when they heard the Good News. Use me to teach them. When they experience the fruits of my love for Your people, let them crave opportunities to show their love and place people in their paths to receive it. Col 1:23

Let my children run in stride with those who (like them) are committed to lives of purity. Let them draw on examples of commitment to the Lord, like Eric Lidell (Chariots of Fire) and my life as encouragement to pursue their faith and finish their race.  2 Timothy 2:22 

I pray my children humble themselves and begin to understand their relationship with You. We are Your tools and You are the master craftsman. You give us talents and the will to develop them… You open doors and bring provision… we MUST give all glory to You… or we will fall. Isa 9:12-18

Change my children’s attitude. Help them understand that while on this earth, in order to receive victory in their battles and success in their endeavors, they must OBEY You. I want to be a good example for my children. Help me understand that true joy and peace are directly tied to my faith. If I want more joy, or more peace … I must simply ask You for more faith. Just as eating pie brings a smile to my face, asking for more faith…
