Let my children hear the instruction of their father and not reject the teaching of their mother. Proverbs 1:8

Give my children x-ray vision… to be able to spot the goodness in every situation. Just for today, I pray my children make a conscious effort to only see the good in every person and every moment. I pray my children NEVER ignore the poor … for he who shuts his ear to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be answered. Proverbs 21:13

My children give me hope and joy. They are my proud reward. Though sometimes separated, my heart will never leave them, and we will stand together before our Lord Jesus when He comes back again. 1Thessalonians 2:17-19

May my children wake up today and see only two people groups, those in Christ Jesus and those not. I pray they lavish love on both groups of people. Gal 3:28

I know all about sin! Let my children admit their shame to me so that I can help relieve their guilt, lighten the heaviness, and restore their spirits. I pray they take my hand… as I know the way to the cross! Gal 6:1 BG 7-26-08
