Help my children understand that they will need people to help fulfill Your purpose for their life and get them where they need to go next. Let them see me humble myself to others as well as honor those God has placed in my life. Romans 16:3

When my children are on my last nerve and I feel overcome with irritability, selfishness, anger, or resentment for my present circumstances, may I recognize the root of the problem… which is NOT my children, but my hungry soul needing to rest in You. Just as I become a grouch when I experience physical hunger……

I pray my children seek You for a vision for their future… so that I can become their biggest cheerleader.  My spirit agrees with theirs when they are walking in Your will so that I get to support rather than correct! They will not allow facts or naysayers to interfere with their God given visions…

Do not allow sin to control the way my children live. Teach them that living without restraint is like removing brakes from a car, while the ride will be exciting, it will end in disaster. May my children submit to Christ, stop fretting about their hurts and challenges and give them to You!!! May they spend time everyday thanking You and seeking You … so that they experience peace like a mighty river rolling through their obedient lives! Isaiah 48:18

Don’t let my children compare themselves to others and conclude that they aren’t worthy because they are missing particular talents, attributes, or possessions.
