My children’s life is like a pocket of coins. Rather than polishing the copper coins of their past in hopes of making them more valuable, I pray they will pick up the shiny gold coins of their future and use these God-given strengths to bring value to their lives. 1Timothy 4:14

My children will make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive the person that offends them. They will be bound together by love and let the peace that comes from Christ rule their hearts. Colossians 3:13-15

I pray my children humble themselves and begin to understand their relationship with You. We are Your tools and You are the master craftsman. You give us talents and the will to develop them … You open doors and bring provision … we MUST give all glory to You … or we will fall. Isaiah…

Reveal to my children their unique gifts. Give them the wisdom and courage to manage them well so that your generosity can flow through them. 1Pt 4:10

The hands of angels are holding my children, guiding them and protecting them from danger. I pray my children feel the warmth and protection of these celestial beings sent to them from God… I pray I feel them too! Dan 10:10

Let my children run in stride with those who (like them) are committed to lives of purity. Let them draw on examples of commitment to the Lord, like Eric Lidell (Chariots of Fire) and my life as encouragement to pursue their faith and finish their race. 2Ti 2:22
