Teach my children the power of Selah (pause and reflect). Don’t allow them to race through life without capturing the meaning. I pray my children view their circumstances with You as the focal point and see that their problems are a platform to display Your power to act on their behalf… may they understand this, stand firm in their faith, and NOT let the enemy get the best of them! Mt 14:24-33
As my children are released from bondage and experience freedom in certain parts of their lives… I pray they make the connection that their obedience in those areas set them free. I pray they submit to God’s authority in ALL areas, either all at once, or baby step by baby step until they are totally…
Let my children be grateful. Teach them the ‘reinforcement principle’ … they get more of what they acknowledge … so that they begin to routinely thank the ones they love for even the smallest favor.
