Give my children a revelation of communion. Jesus is the Bread of Life and I pray my children will KNOW this so they will never be hungry or thirsty and will continually be filled with Him so they lack nothing. John 6:35
May my children be anchored in Your ways so they don’t drift away when circumstances begin to change. Yes, problems will come but give them the wisdom to only glance their way rather than obsessing over them! James 1:6-8
Endurance simply means outlasting the problem. Help my children endure the hardship they are facing today. Place warriors alongside them that don’t quit so my children will know the hope and joy endurance brings. Heb 10:36
Teach my children the power of prayer. Show them that You rescue others because of our prayers and that many will give thanks to God when those prayers we have been diligently praying for them are answered. 2 Corinthians 1:11
Speak tenderly to my children after You chastise them so they will be more open to receive Your forgiveness and subsequently obey Your voice. Give me a tender spirit also, so my discipline will be an earthly example of the freedom that follows repentance and results in obedience. Isaiah 40:1-2
Secure my children’s values so they stand firm when tempted. May they know who they are. Then release them from the urge to compare themselves to others, especially those that are not pleasing You.
