Please make Your presence know to my children so they may know and experience Your joy. Don’t let them depend on our world for happiness for if they do their only joy will come from reaction to circumstances… but You can plaster a smile on their faces that will puzzle even the deepest cynic and cause others to want what they have… YOU! Ne 8:10, Jn 14:15
Guide my children along right paths. Dr. Martin Luther King said, “Cowardice asks: Is it safe? Consensus asks: Is it popular? Character asks: Is it right?” Help my children do the right thing, especially when it costs them, when the wrong this is more expedient, or when no one is looking. Ps 23:3
Make my children strong… may they NEVER opt for the easy way out and detach from people. Christ gave his life for people… and we were left here on this earth for the purpose of connecting! Mt 24:12, Jn 17:18
Give my children tunnel vision … help them see what You see. A lost friend doesn’t result in a life of loneliness; a bad grade doesn’t result in a life of poverty, and a pimple doesn’t mark them for a life of failure. May they walk by faith and not by sight, trusting You to…
May my children grow in the footsteps of Christ and become strong in spirit, filled with wisdom and may the grace of God be upon them. Luke 2:40
When facing our fears, You command us to banish all cowardice and flinching from our spirits, to not become depressed, dismayed or unnerved. Please remove any of these traits from my children so they are not blocked from entering their places of blessing. Dt 31:8 I confess I am the branch of the Living Vine….
May my children show and make obvious that they are letters from Christ delivered to the world by me … not written with ink but with the Spirit of the living God … not on tablets of stone but on tablets of the human heart. 2 Corinthians 3:3
