I pray my children stand firm and NEVER give in to a coldness of heart. May they never allow the enemy to talk them into protecting themselves relationally by shutting their hearts up in a steel box. Mt 24:12
Reveal to my children the secret to experiencing Your constant presence… God walks with and pours blessing upon those walking with Him, not the other way around! May my children learn to walk with God rather than begging Him to walk with them! 2 Co 2:14, Ps. 84:5
Teach my children not to waste their time and energy on things that cannot be changed. Help them to look forward and press on. Remind them that You have plans for them and they are good. Help my children understand that they will need people to help fulfill Your purpose for their life and get them where they need to go next. Let them see me humble myself to others as well as honor those God has placed I my life. Romans 16:3
We cannot produce peace, it is a fruit of the Spirit. When my children received Christ they also received His peace… they just don’t always know how to activate it. May they allow the Prince of Peace to govern their lives because it is in circumstances where my children submit to His will (not theirs)…
Sins are to my children’s lives as weeds are to the garden. They are going to pop up but we must diligently be on the watch and eradicate them from our lives before they take over. If not, my children’s lives will not produce the fruit God intended where he planted their seeds. Romans 6:12
