Keep my children from jumping to false conclusions. When they see each other seemingly displeasing You, let them take the time to ask for each other’s explanation. Most likely, all is well, as the Israelites discovered of their brethren in the matter of the Lord’s alter near the Jordan. Jos 22

Let my children run in stride with those who (like them) are committed to lives of purity. Let them draw on examples of commitment to the Lord, like Eric Lidell (Chariots of Fire) and my life as encouragement to pursue their faith and finish their race. 2Timothy 2:22

Use me to fill up anything that may still be missing in my children’s faith. Make their love grow and overflow for each other and to everyone else so that Christ will make their hearts strong, blameless, and holy when they stand before You on judgment day. Thessalonians 3:12-13

Show my children that great wealth misappropriated is the ruin of many people. Fill my children with purpose and promise… a drive to work hard and may they prosper… ultimately and faithfully investing their increase in You rather than hoard it for overindulgent pleasure and self-gratification.
